The Story of Plastic – Virtual Screening June 1- June 8

The Story of Plastic takes a critical look at the plastic problem we have on our fragile planet. It is presented by the Story of Stuff Project, a non-profit dedicated to changing the way we make, use and throw away stuff.

Mosaic Unveiling

April 3, 2020 – POSTPONED, TBD

OASIS Fine Art & Craft member Barbara Camph is collaborating with area high school students to create an environmental mosaic in downtown Harrisonburg. Join us for the unveiling of the mosaic on Friday April 3 at noon at the corner of Main and E. Market St. We thank Arts Council of the Valley for supporting this project. Pictured is the LOVE mosaic designed by Barbara Camph in collaboration with area high school students.

50th Anniversary of Earth Day

Come join us in April for the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. EDED will host author Bea Johnson to Harrisonburg for the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day in April 2020. When it is ready, we will link to a calendar of Earth Day events throughout the month of April 2020. The month of events is produced by a collaboration of groups that make caring for our environment a priority.
